Cumbria & the Lake District
I visit the Lake District several times a year and always hope that this time it won't rain! This collection of photos includes scenes from Cumbria, the Eden Valley and the English Lake District
Ulverston
A sleepy Sunday - Ulverston, South Lakeland, Cumbria. Ulverston is a lovely, unspoilt little market town in South Lakeland. The town is just 2 miles to the coast and is linked to Morecambe Bay by a canal that claims to be the straightest, deepest and widest in the UK.
Two of the town's churches can clearly be seen; to the front is the very distinctive Ulverston Methodist Church and further back on the left is the Parish Church of St Mary's
