The landscape of the Highlands of Scotland is unbeatable, especially the very special scenery of Assynt. The beaches of the west coast of Scotland are world class. And then there's the grandeur of the Cairngorms.
Glen Coe
Broody, moody Glen Coe in winter. Taken in January, from the top of the glen. I find Glen Coe a very atmospheric place to be, I think I feel the its memories of the massacre when I am there. I tried to get that mood into this photo.
The famous massacre took place in 1692, when 38 McDonalds were killed by their guests.
