The sea front and beaches of the little seaside resort of Dawlish in South Devon, viewed from Shell Cove. The cove is accessible by private path, boat or by foot at very low tide. This photo was taken from the pleasure boat that offers "trips round the bay" to visitors in summertime (and a lovely trip it is too). Dawlish is in the area of Devon that has red cliffs and red sand - you can see the cliffs in the photo.
