Ferry to Exmouth

I can recommend the ferry ride from Starcross to Exmouth - the trip is short, only about 20 minutes, but provides wonderfull views of the River Exe, Starcross and Exmouth Harbour.

Exmouth is on the South Devon coast. There are two miles of golden sands, leading to the start of the Unesco designated World Heritage Coast. I love the western end of the promenade, with it's wonderful views towards Dawlish, Dawlish Warren and Torbay. The harbour is now a marina, with colourful new buildings, but still retains its character.
